Who We Are
Canadians are renowned for their unique identity and love for country. Canada is known globally as a vibrant and free country. We’ve inherited the oldest constitutional tradition globally and are currently the only remaining North American constitutional monarchy. Canada’s institutions are committed to Order, Peace, and Good Governance as per the 1867 British North American Act, the original constitutional document.
Canadians have been able to build a prosperous country in a rugged environment due to hard work, enterprise, fair play, and ordered liberty. Canada’s prosperity from the Atlantic to Pacific Ocean shores and the Arctic Circle is hailed as a “Great Dominion” by poets and songwriters. To understand the essence of being Canadian, it is crucial to understand the Aboriginal, British, and French, who happen to be Canada’s three founding people.
